Leaders Path During Times of Change

Posted by admin | Business | Wednesday 4 August 2010 4:54 am

We are experiencing following the Renaissance – a period when the speed, pace and depth of change, more than ever before. Our systems (organizational, social, financial, etc.) is on the verge of chaos and control. Our old structures, systems and processes are no longer adequate and that more has not yet been determined.

In the past the Renaissance, we were awakened in the scientific world. Newton and others teaches us to see the world again – at the expense of rational points. The world was not unpredictable, but acts in accordance with an accurate laws of science, mathematics and physics. Our ability to understand our natural world exploded. Rational solutions of the problems has become our MO.

Many of us, and our organizations are still functioning under the philosophy of the fourteenth century. We believe we can predict and control in the future (based on our strategic planning). We believe that rational problem solving is the key to our dilemma (the focus of most of the working groups). We believe that our logic is the best and others just want to see it our way (the focus of most of our conversations).

Western rationalism splitting. We can not create, control or predict changes. Change just is. He’s here, and this has had on us (which is quite different from the belief that the world several static and we can make change happen)

So what does all this mean? What we should be take into account the constantly changing future. Whereas the leaders of accepting, curious, and humble and wonderful ability to connect with others to promote change. Whereas leaders to identify and light the way forward, the old right of way.

In order to become leaders to remember click on this power, we must:

1. Let go of our belief in ourselves and our technical genius in order to move from a technical master mind partner. Build awareness and become more open, the subtleties and nuances. The next time you are in a meeting in which different views are expressed, stop and listen, rather than injecting another point of view. Watch for the subtleties and nuances between the different and similar points of view. Then, ask questions, and do not move in the direction of your other point of view, but to clarify and to truly understand the differences. Thus, you’ll have a better understanding of all issues before moving on to problem solving mode.

2. Be prepared for the concept of continuous change and the unknown future. What we are planning today may not work tomorrow. To succeed in the unknown future, we must:

A. Acknowledge mistakes when things are not as we thought, or what we predicted them to be.

B. Be flexible enough to make the changes necessary to make a difference (and not forcing action now deficiencies plan).

But, you may miss a very viable resource, which sat at your feet. Local market. In this article I am going to present three valuable reason why you should be marketing at the local level.

I’m going to start with, I think, perhaps, the most important reason. This is the amount of money that you can do. If you target people who are advertising on the local level, they are accustomed to spending money on advertising. At the present time commercial on TV, radio or newspaper, certainly not cheap. If you can offer them alternatives online, at a reasonable price compared to them, usually you are offering them a good deal. Thus, you can use this dynamic market.

Next, you have a huge advantage with search engine optimization, when you advertise in the local market. This means that you can rank the keywords that might otherwise have been impossible. For example, consider a competitive search terms, as a florist. It would be very difficult to rank this term globally. But now imagine the local market. These are people who want to get flowers once, and they want to know the address of the supplier in their area home. It is much easier to rank for the term Florist with local vicinity added to it.

A final reason for the incentive at the local level, when you are trying to get paid traffic. You can bid on keywords that are much more specific, or localized. This means that you do not spend money on an attack on people outside the area, or do not intend to buy. In addition, you can improve the quality of assessment. By doing this, you can get into a highly profitable traffic.

Local marketing should not be difficult, even if you have not already done so. To a smaller set of large and global market, you can make much more money. I’m going to share with you one last secret. You are not just for advertising in your local market. You can choose any local market in the world to go after. The global reach of the Internet makes this possible. By placing advertisements in several local markets, you can really dominate the search engines and explode your online business.
